Today’s Inspiration: “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:1-2. Walking in the Spirit is not about a life free from troubles, problems or challenges but a life is free from sin, fear of man, and Satan’s lies and deception.
The biggest crisis the Church is facing today is that we have downplayed and obscured the seriousness of sin in Christianity. The kingdom life is not being flexible, free and living in how you want it as long you just confess Jesus Christ is your Lord, and by God’s grace, He will understand why you sin. This is the exact lie and voice of Satan in the garden of Eden when Adam took from the Tree of knowledge of Good and Evil. What we think is good in our eyes may not be pleasing to God.

The foolishness of humanity is that we keep making the same mistakes. “The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way, But the folly of fools is deceit. Fools mock at sin, But among the upright there is favor.” Proverbs 14:8-9. Walking in the Spirit is walking in the fear of the Lord which is the beginning of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. We have to repent from sins, break the lukewarmness of the flesh and walk in the Spirit of the Lord for the Church to thrive, triumph and trample over demons, darkness and the devil. This is the purpose why Jesus came is to destroy the works of satan. 1 John 3:8.
Prayers: O Lord my God, forgive our sins if I have downplayed sin and your commandments in i life. Turn my heart back to you and remove all idols that I may obey, honour and reverence your commandments, statutes, and instructions of your Word. May I hide your word in my heart that sin will not come in, for you are my refuge, my rock, and my fortress. Lead me Lord to walk in your Spirit and your Word, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
