Today’s Inspiration: “There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty. The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.” Proverbs 11:24-25 NKJV Generosity is not a natural gift but a learned, grown and spiritual one. Christ lavished us with His everlasting love and life with the fullness of grace and mercy at the Cross and His Spirit of Resurrection. Growing in Christ also helps us grow in generosity, which breaks the yoke of poverty.

Wisdom taught,”The people will curse him who withholds grain, But blessing will be on the head of him who sells it. He who earnestly seeks good finds favor, But trouble will come to him who seeks evil. He who trusts in his riches will fall, But the righteous will flourish like foliage.” Proverbs 11:26-28 Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.”I Timothy 6:6-9 NKJV Lets not just thing of ourselves but also the poor, sick and needy.
Prayer: O Lord my God, let us grow to be more like Christ daily. As we freely receive from your grace and blessings, let us also be a blessing in the kingdom of God. Make us your channel, your conduit and your vessel of extending your love to others. Give us a heart and passion for compassion to be a giving soul like you. For it is more blessed to give than to receive, in Jesus Name, Amen.
