Today‘s Inspiration: Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27. God’s peace is not found in peaceful times but rather in times of tests, trials, and tribulations. The Holy Spirit is God’s power to bring forth supernatural peace, protection and provision when we are in a crisis. Remember,” The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. But Jesus came so that we may have life, and have it more abundantly. John 10:10.
How does the enemy come to steal? He doesn’t come with a loud bang but a subtle temptation to draw us away from prayer, church worship and God’s Word. If we find difficulty and dry to pray and read the word of God, we are already in a spiritual warfare. Lukewarmness, lawlessness and lovelessness are signs of a prayerless and wordless soul. This is when we get emotional, frustrated and lack self control easily. God’s divine power is to destroy the works of the devil through Christ Jesus our Lord, saviour, healer and deliverer. 1 John 3:8. Prayer of faith can move mountains of fear, anxiety and stress, bringing healing, restoration and reconciliation in our spirit, soul and body. Let the fire at the altar burns day and night. Leviticus 6:13.
Prayer: O Lord my God, your prayer guides and shepherds my soul daily to follow your Holy Spirit. I believe my latter days in you shall be greater than my former days. I believe as I draw near to you, you will draw near to me into your wonderful presence and power, where there is fullness of joy. I break all enemy’s blockages, distractions, temptations that is hindering my prayer life, discipleship and intimacy with God, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
