Today‘s Inspiration: “May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.” Psalms 19:14 NIV. Meditation of the Word is not memorising of the Word of God. It is to allow the Holy Spirit to open the entrance of our mind to fill it with the light of the Lord. Memorising is mechanical but meditating is spiritual, encountering and experiencing the love, peace and joy of God in our hearts.
Apostle Paul taught,”You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. Such confidence we have through Christ before God. Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.”2 Corinthians 3:3-6. May my meditation be pleasing to him, as I rejoice in the Lord. Psalms 104:34 Meditation helps us to build intimacy, dependency and sensitivity to the presence of God, revealing His glory! Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, your word is sweeter than the honey comb and your presence is more precious than gold. For great is your love, higher than the heavens and your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted O God above the heavens, and let your glory be over all the earth. Let my heart delight in your word day and night, meditating on your goodness, greatness, and holiness, for your grace is sufficient for me in Jesus Name, Amen.
