21 February 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: ”Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.“ II Thessalonians‬ ‭1‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭NKJV.‬‬ Prayer is not about what we want but what God wants in our lives. In fact, He doesn’t use the strong and mighty for His work but the weak and willing. It is not about ability that pleases God but our availability. Isaiah 6:8.

The greatest stronghold is self. When we keep being arrested by about our problems, challenges and miseries, be it present or past, we cannot advance. Only PRAYER can help us arise over our situations and circumstances. When we only believe in our own competency, we will miss Christ entirely. In fact, God uses the uneducated, untrained, and unqualified to do His Work, His Will and His Wonders. Why? Because all glory belongs to God, not man. 1 Corinthians 10:31 Paul says,” God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty. I Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭27.‬ Faith comes from hearing, hearing the voice of God in prayer. It’s no longer telling God what you want but following what God tells us to do in His Will on earth as it is in heaven. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, thank you for your faithfulness in all my weaknesses. For when I am weak, you are strong. For those who wait upon you in prayer shall renew their strength and mount up on wings like eagles. I shall run and not feel weary, and shall walk and not faint for you are my strength, salvation, and stronghold. I am redeemed by the blood of the lamb and is destined as a workmanship for the glory of God. I believe I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
