Today’s Inspiration: “Honest weights and scales are the Lord’s; All the weights in the bag are His work. It is an abomination for kings to commit wickedness, For a throne is established by righteousness.” Proverbs 16:11-12 NKJV. We all hear honesty is the best policy. However, it is easily to do so when all things are well and rosy. But what if crisis or situations beyond our control comes into our life. In the healing ministry, we have seen souls begin to doubt God when facing sickness, brokenness or financial difficulties, who once was healthy, happy and affluent. What if the integrity of our faith is being challenged?
Apostle Paul taught,”I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:12-13. The Lord said to Apostle Paul,”My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 Let’s remember to hold on to God tighter than anyone or anything else in prayer.
Prayer: O Lord my God, “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. I thank you for thy grace of thy weights and scales to balance my soul, in Jesus Name, Amen.
