20 October 2025 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “The priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan; and all Israel crossed over on dry ground, until all the people had crossed completely over the Jordan.” Joshua 3:17 NKJV. The river Jordan didn’t part until the priests stepped into the waters. They didn’t fear because they were focus on carrying the ark of the covenant, which is the presence of God. The Lord went before them and stopped the highest tide from coming downstream about 27km which is the distance between north and south of Singapore. Let this be a season of miracles stepping out by faith and not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7.

So it was, when the people set out from their camp to cross over the Jordan, with the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people, and as those who bore the ark came to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who bore the ark dipped in the edge of the water (for the Jordan overflows all its banks during the whole time of harvest), that the waters which came down from upstream stood still, and rose in a heap very far away at Adam, the city that is beside Zaretan. So the waters that went down into the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, failed, and were cut off; and the people crossed over opposite Jericho. Joshua 3:14-16. Praise God for His divine providence!

Prayer: O Lord my God, you are the healer of my past, present and future. Lead me by your presence to step out by faith in the spirit, to break boundaries of fears, lack, weakness, sickness, brokenness or sadness. Enlarge my spirit by your Holy Spirit with spiritual strength to break all yokes, mountains and obstacles in Jesus Name, for who the Son sets free is free indeed, Amen.
