Today’s Inspiration: “I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.” Psalms 34:4-5 NIV. In all things, never lean on your own feelings, emotions and understanding, but seek the Lord first in prayer, petitions and thanksgiving in your heart. Philippians 4:6. The secret to David’s victories and triumph comes out from faithfulness in prayer and intimacy with God in the secret place of the Most High. The difference between Saul and David was dependency on God. Saul depended on the strength of his armies over his enemies but David depended on God to fight his adversaries. Saul wasn’t repentant and quickly turn to spiritualist but David has a contrite heart and promptly sought God’s forgiveness, grace and face.

David sang,” Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found; surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them. You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. The Lord will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; He will counsel you with His loving eye on you.” Psalms 32:6-8. God stores abundant of good things for those who fear and seek Him. Psalms 31:19. This is the season of rejoicing in the Lord, for He will turn your wailing to dancing. He will remove your sackcloth and cloth you with joy, that your heart may sing His praises and not be silent. David was never afraid of enemies bigger than him but Saul does because greater is God in David’s life. 1 John 4:4. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, I believe greater are you inside of me. He who brought down the bear, the lion and Goliath in David’s life lives in me, for nothing is impossible for God. I believe it is time for me to step up and step out in faith to trust you in overcoming my fears, anxieties and stress. I shall pick up my stones with faith towards my enemy, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
