Today‘s Inspiration: “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12. No one can transform a soul or change a person’s heart except the Word of God. Many are hearers of the word but few are doers of the word. Therefore when the Word of God reveals our sins, and we don’t repent and change, we deceive ourselves. The power and blessings of God operates in an obedient vessel. And our attitude determines our altitude.
Apostle James taught,”Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.” James 1:22-25. Our blessings come from our obedience to God’s Word. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, let me walk according to your Word, the light to my path. Let your Word cleanse and sanctify my soul from all sins, transgressions and iniquities. Direct my feet with your peace, my heart with your grace and my mind with your wisdom. For you are the way, the truth and the life in Jesus' Name, Amen
