In any distress, let’s call out to the Lord our God and from His temple He shall hear your cry in prayers. It is His promises that,” He will rescue me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the Lord was my support. 2 Samuel 22:18-19. Every battle in our lives draw us closer to God and turn our hearts and eyes to His Will.
Before we can know God’s will, we have to first surrender ours. Spiritually it’s a warfare of the flesh, the devil and self will. God’s will is revealed in His Word. “You, Lord, are my lamp; the Lord turns my darkness into light. With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall. 2 Samuel 22:29-30. Truth be spoken, deep devotion and direction manifest in times of desperation and dependency on Christ. Without Crisis we take things for granted, being complacent and conceited, taking even our sins lightly. In fact, pain in life reflects and reveals the stripes of Calvary and the wounds of our Christ. Don’t be afraid of Crisis for Character is moulded through Christ. There is power at the Cross to Crossover. So put our trust in God and follow Him and His Word.
Prayer: O Lord my God, whatever that is not planted by you in my life, shall be uprooted in the Name of Yeshua. I surrender my will unto you to know, understand and follow yours. I lay down all my burdens, my burnouts, my bondages at the Cross of Calvary. Give me faith to move mountains in prayer and boldness to confront all sins and blockages that is hindering my breakthroughs and healing. I break all momentum of the enemy’s attack, pull down all strongholds within, and close all access doors to the enemy, in Yeshua's mighty and powerful Name, Amen.
