Abraham and Sarah had to yield to God's ways through a series of tests before they could advance towards their destiny. It's through a series of tests that caused them to understand the Divine attributes of God. You cannot ascertain God's direction for you till His appointed time. God is a God of Divine order and not an author of confusion.
