20 January 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: ”Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. Whoever has ears, let them hear.”Matthew‬ ‭13‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ Jesus shared about the parable of the sower, which relates the soil to our hearts and the seeds to the word of God. It reflects the conditions of our hearts: A hardy one, a rocky one and a thorny one, which are unable to bear good harvest and fruits. How is the condition of your heart? Is it hardened, indifferent or worrying? One hears the Word and forgets, one hears with joy but has no rooting or foundations, and the other has thorns and thistles of worries and worldliness.

God’s wisdom teaches,”My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body. Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Proverbs‬ ‭4‬:‭20‬-‭23‬. Do not let the issues of the world hinder your relationship with God. The critical challenges and condition of the end of times church is lukewarmness, indifferent and depression. Satan’s main objective is to steal, kill and destroy our faith in God, but in Christ our faith is unshakable with deep roots of His word in our hearts like Christ, bearing fruit of the Spirit. A godly life led by a relational, productive, and humble heart of Christ, filled with the Holy Spirit.

Prayer: O Lord my God, make me your vessel and make me your offering. Heal my heart of all wounds, worries, and weariness. Give me a new heart of flesh in exchange of my stony heart daily. Let your divine seed of love take root in my heart to make me more like you. May the image of Christ be my reflections and transformation. Give me a heart of wisdom, knowledge and understanding of God. Show me your glory that I may be partakers of your kingdom and portion in Jesus Name, Amen.
