Today’s Inspiration: “My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.” 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 NIV. Today the world is flooded with information and so is the body of Christ of what is happening in the world but is lacking of revelation from the Holy Spirit. The gospel is not a dispensation of words like a religion. On the contrary it is the demonstration of the power of God. For the body without the spirit is dead so is faith without actions is dead. James 2:27
We are created for God’s signs and wonders and our lives is to manifest His transformation by the power of the Holy Spirit. When Ananias was called to witness to Saul who became Paul, the word of the Lord came and restored back his sight. When God send His message, He also sends His manifestation of power, healing and restoration. He said to Paul,” The God of our ancestors has chosen you to know his will and to see the Righteous One and to hear words from his mouth. You will be his witness to all people of what you have seen and heard.” Acts 22:14-15. The body of Christ must be a witness of both God’s Word and Power, so that the world can encounter Christ Jesus in awe. Our messiah said," And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” Mark 16:17-18 Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, I believe your Kingdom is at hand and your mighty power, miracles, signs and wonders shall follow the witnessing of your gospel. Let my prayer not just be logos but of rhema to bring forth healing and power of the Holy Spirit. You shall rule and reign with your mighty right hand that will bring forth rivers in the desert and pathways in the wilderness, in Jesus ‘ Name, Amen.
