Today’s Inspiration: “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.”Matthew 5:7 NIV Grace is God giving us of what we don’t deserve because we are sinners who falls short of His glory, but for the redemptive work of salvation through Christ alone at the Cross. Whereas mercy is not giving us what we deserve which is the judgement of eternal damnation in fiery hell because of our sins. If we can’t forgive others, God will also not forgive us. But if we show mercy, He will also show mercy to us.

Prophetic Micah said,”He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”Micah 6:8 NIV David said,”Our Lord, is a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness. Turn to me and have mercy on me; show your strength in behalf of your servant; save me, because I serve you just as my mother did. Give me a sign of your goodness, that my enemies may see it and be put to shame, for you, Lord, have helped me and comforted me.”Psalms 86:15-17
Prayer: O Lord my God, lead me with a contrite heart and broken spirit to submit to you in forgiving all of whom had sinned against me. Let my sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving always be residing in your mercy for your love endures forever. Humble me that I too learn to ask for forgiveness should I have hurt my brothers or sisters in any way. Let your mercy bring healing to all souls, in Jesus Name, Amen.
