20 April 2026 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. 1 Chronicles 16:9 Our spiritual life is intimately and powerfully connected to our prayer life. Our life can be reflected in our hearts and the condition of our prayer altar. Today people misunderstood church life as spiritual life but truly it is not. It is prayer life that brings life to the Church. A church without prayer is powerless, likewise for a Christian without a prayer life daily. Matthew 6:33

Prayer is the bedrock of our spiritual growth, fruitfulness, strength and maturity in Christ. Jesus prioritizes prayer daily and intimacy with God. Mark 1:35 The devil’s highest priority is to destroy prayer life because he knows when we pray unceasingly, God hears and comes into the picture and he has to flee. King David was a man of prayer and he seeks God’s face daily. He said,”I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles.”Psalms 34:4-6 NIV Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, let the prayer altar in the temple of the Holy Spirit be burning day and night with sweet incense unto you. Lead me into deeper prayers, intimacy and communion with you in your secret dwelling place. Quicken in my spirit a hunger and thirst for your righteousness, for I desire to seek your face, your will and your purposes. May I taste and see that the Lord is good; for blessed is the one who takes refuge in him, in Jesus Name, Amen.
