Today’s Inspiration: “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” Psalms 90:12 NIV. The western world seeks knowledge like the Greeks and the Jews look for spiritual signs like people of the east, Jesus said. And this is the issue also in the Church today, where we can be totally intellectual, puff up with knowledge of the Bible but without spirit or overly spiritual without the word of God, except signs and wonders. We need both the Holy Spirit and the Word of God to grow and mature spiritually. It is all balanced and centred at the Cross of Christ, which wisdom resides.

The Church can only be united by the Cross of Calvary, which the world can only be saved through, the only begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ who carried all our sins and took all our afflictions for the chastisement of peace from God. Apostle Paul taught,”We preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.”1 Corinthians 1:23-25

Prayer: O Lord my God, let the Cross and your resurrection brings forth the power and wisdom of God in my life. I believe you took all my sins, iniquities and transgressions at Calvary and let me share your gospel through the power of the Cross that breaks the chains of sin, death, and curses. May your wisdom brings light, hope, and salvation to save the least, the lost and the last, in Jesus Name, Amen.
