Today‘s Inspiration: “Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway. For those who find me find life and receive favor from the Lord. Proverbs 8:34-35 NIV. The art of prayer is to train our spirit man to hear the voice of God through His divine Word of the gospel. Our personal scripture reading and meditating fills our lamps with fresh oil, and our spirit like a reservoir of living waters.

Putting God first in the break of dawn is most imminent for the growth of our spiritual life in prayer. Matthew 6:33 God desires to have our whole heart and not our spare capacity. What is first in your mind today? Before you begin your day or make major decisions, would you listen, watch, and wait upon the Lord for His voice? John 10:27. Many run into trouble and tragedy because we didn’t pray and couldn’t wait for the wisdom of God but move basing on our own thoughts, feelings and emotions. These are fleshly desires. God’s ways are higher than ours and so are His thoughts and wisdom. It’s wise to pray and be led by the Spirit.
Prayer: O Lord my God, your sheep hears your voice, you know us and we follow you. Let all my heart, my soul and my strength be yielded to your Holy Spirit with love, passion and devotion in prayer. Let all my brokenness and weakness be made perfect in your righteousness and might, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
