Today’s Inspiration: “This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”Romans 3:22-24 NIV. Today the church is not lacking of activities, projects or programs, neither it is lacking of Bible study or life groups. We have prayer meetings and healing rooms with accessible points for ministry. At times, we could think or seek for a model or method which will bring revival and outpouring of Holy Spirit in this generation which we believe.

In fact, when we look closely, the Church seems to operate quite similarly to the corporate world today for growth and sustainability. In the book of Romans, Paul clearly struggles with this and through His wrestling in the Spirit brings forth the revelation of life in the Spirit. The Church today needs the Works of Christ, which we all try to establish in the ministry but what can be truly missing is the Love of Christ. Am I working out of my flesh and my strength or am I drawing out of Christ and serving like Christ. Do I begin all things in Christ, for Christ, and through Christ? We have to get back to our first love, foundation and source. It is not who we are but of whose we are. God looks at the worshipper, not the worship; the hearts and not the appearance.
Prayer: O Lord my God, for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. I thank you for your precious gift and the atonement of your blood for our iniquities and transgressions at the Cross of Calvary. Let us not walk in the flesh but in the Spirit. Let us not just do the work but be more like Christ. Let I be lesser, and Christ be greater who lives in me. Change and mould me to live like you. Guide me and teach to love like you, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
