Today‘s Inspiration: “Listen to me, you descendants of Jacob, all the remnant of the people of Israel, you whom I have upheld since your birth, and have carried since you were born. Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.” Isaiah 46:3-4 NIV. God intention for His glorious church is neither young nor old but an intergenerational one, who loves His Word, Worship and Works in one accord.
In serving God, we are not alone in this journey but Christ who is our shepherd. Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Hebrews 12:1-3. Most important we discern the time and season that God has for us to do in His will and purpose. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, let us return to our first love and passion for you. Anoint us with a fresh touch of your Holy Spirit and let our hearts once again be swelling with faith and compassion for your work of salvation in many lives. Use me as your vessel of honour that I may give you all glory, honour, and praise in what I was created to do in your books, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
