2 July 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: “Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.”2 Corinthians‬ ‭7‬:‭1‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ How is the condition of your spiritual house, the temple of the Holy Spirit? Or in the physical realm, how is the cleanliness of your house? It is easy to mess up the house than to tidy it. It is easy to dirty the place than to clean it. If we ignore the house, pestilence and pests can come in, just as the spiritual house.

Why is there a stagnation of salvation in the nation? It is because there is lack of sanctification in the body of Christ. Jesus last prayer for His disciples was sanctification to be the glorious church. John 17:17. Are our thoughts, words and emotions sanctified daily? We struggle because we keep bitterness, anger, resentment, unforgiveness, jealousy and hatred of the past in the spiritual house and they are food for the demonic. The more we delay cleaning, the greater we are reluctant to do so for deeper healing. It’s Satan’s plan is for us to be insensitive of our own dirty dishes and allowing trash to accumulate. Prayers of sanctification will be the end of times power of God over our spiritual house, family, and nation in the time and season to come. Christ will justify us through sanctification to be glorified as His bride. Glory to God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, forgive us for conceitedness and complacency in our spiritual life. Draw us closer to you in this season of deeper prayers of sanctification. Remove all toxic thoughts, emotions and words in my spirit man as I sanctified the temple of the Holy Spirit daily, washed by your holy word. Bring me into deeper healing, restoration and reconciliation with you. Let I not judge others but judge myself in confession, repentance and transformation by your Word, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
