2 January 2026 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.”2 Chronicles 20:22 NIV Worship is warfare and therefore we who are true worshippers of God, worship Him in spirit and truth. John 4:24 King Jehoshaphat’s victories against the three armies which were larger than his was not accomplished by bigger chariots, weapons, armies or horses but by the Worship of God.

God does not delight in the strength of the horse; He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man. The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, In those who hope in His mercy. Psalms 147:10-11 Worship is the spiritual weapon against demonic forces behind ever strongholds and bondages. It turns our hearts to God, and scatters our enemies. Worship keeps us humble and to bow down before His holy presence. Worship crucifies the flesh and resurrect the Spirit man. God’s divine intervention is stronger than adversaries and His victories were all written in His praises!

Prayer: O Lord my God, I give you thanks and all the glory, honour and praises daily, for you fight all my battles. You are the Lord my God, whom I trust with all my heart, all my soul, and all my strength. Fill me with spiritual songs, anointed exhortations and divine hymns that extol your Holy and mighty Name. Pull down all the pride of my adversaries, confuse their attacks and rout their armies into ruins. Lead me away from all temptations and deliver me from all evil. Direct me by your everlasting ways, in Jesus Name.
