2 February 2026 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”1 John 4:7-8 NIV Many people can’t feel love or being loved is because they don’t know God or encounter Him. Unforgiveness causes rejection of others, self and God. Don’t not be surprised that one can be decades as a Christian in name but is not truly born again. There is no spiritual growth or healing in character transformation.

The major spiritual obstacle we faced the inner healing ministry is one’s heart totally hardened by pride, hatred, resentment, bitterness and unforgiveness. This causes spiritual blindness, demonic torment and emotional numbness, a conscience seared with iron. Jesus taught,”For he who forgives little, loves little.”Luke 7:47 Forgiveness is the greatest and strongest weapon against Satan, to break bondages and pull down the above strongholds to encounter the power of the love of God. When one chooses to sincerely repent and asking for forgiveness by the grace of Christ Jesus at the Cross of Calvary, he or she is truly set free and begin encounter the love of God with a renewed heart and mind, living a new life in the Kingdom of God. One is born again when one is born with the love of God, that is in Christ Jesus.

Prayer: O Lord my God, I am a sinner saved by grace. If there are any unforgiveness or unresolved conflicts within me, I ask for your love, strength and your grace to release any person who has hurt, wounded, abused or offended me. Pull out any roots of bitterness, unforgiveness, resentment and negativity which has hardened my heart. Give me a new heart that is filled with your agape love, grace, and mercy. Heal my broken heart and bind up all wounds, in Jesus Name, Amen.
