Today‘s Inspiration: “I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh.”Ezekiel 11:19 NKJV. Our family of origin are rooted from the heart. In fact, the condition of our hearts reflects the life that we live, like a mirror to our soul. Proverbs 27:19. Healing comes when we choose to humble ourselves and surrender our hardness, confess our sins and give our wounds to God. Without the Holy Spirit, we will not even know we had sinned against God. Hatred, jealousy, anger and bitterness are hidden roots of bondages in the soul.
Giving our hearts to God is a deep inner healing process. Festering emotional wounds can destroy relationships and divide families. God’s kingdom power resides in repentance, love, and forgiveness. Discern the roots of dysfunctions and generational iniquities help us to remove our harden hearts and replace them with Christ’s. For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end, while it is said: “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion. Hebrews 3:14-15. The Holy Spirit is a spirit of reconciliation, restoration and redemption. And he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers. Malachi 4:6. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, heal my wounds and remove my hardened heart with its bitter roots. Let me be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to anger. Give me clean hands and a pure heart like you which you have purposed for me. Forgive my sins and lead me with your righteous right hand. Let me be Holy, for you are Holy. Not religiously but relationally in my home and family that they may know Christ. It is not by might nor by power but by your Spirit, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
