Today’s Inspiration: “I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.” Psalms 34:4-6 NKJV. Time with God is highest priority. Even as a king, David was truly a man after God’s heart and he knew even he was an outcast, a poor shepherd boy, and has no favour from his father or his brothers, He sought and sang to the Lord at all times and the Lord blessed him, made him strong and did great exploits for the kingdom of God.
David’s first love was the Lord and his desire was to live in spirit and truth as a true worshipper of God. John 4:24. David as a man like us experienced fear, anxieties and stress from his circumstances, betrayal from his own and even threats from his adversaries. But he knows where his treasure lies in his heart. Apostle taught,” But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. II Corinthians 4:7-10. A regenerated life is a powerful life to experience the wonders of God in holiness and liberty.
