Today’s Inspiration: “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.”Ephesians 3:20 NKJV. We all know God works supernatural things in us and our lives through faith in Christ Jesus. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. Hebrews 11:1-3.
So how do we increase our faith? We could candidly say through tests, trials, and tribulations of life, which ignites our faith by the fire of the Holy Spirit. Without sacrifice there is no fire at the altar. We could clearly see that only a godly discontent to trust God like Peter or a shameless audacity in relentless prayer like the widow could move impossible mountains. Luke 18:5. For without faith, it is impossible to please God. Hebrews 11:6. It was against all hope, Abraham in hope believed God and became the father of all Nations. Faith brings all possibilities on earth as it is in heaven, calling into being things that were not. Romans 4:17.
Prayer: O Lord my God, give me a new measure of faith as I offer myself as a living sacrifice. Let I not conform to the patterns of the world of unbelief but be transformed in the renewing of my mind by faith in Christ Jesus, my Lord and King. For He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
