Today’s Inspiration: “Let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance— for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Proverbs‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬-‭7‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ Wisdom is not about cleverness or intelligence. It is about discernment in the heart, conscience and spirit. One can have intelligence but no integrity, clever but conceited. Knowledge in the world brings pride but knowledge in the Kingdom brings humility. Proverbs 22:4.

Have we dealt with unforgiveness, offences, brokenness and bitterness in our hearts? Do we take time to listen to God as He searches our hearts and know our anxious thoughts? Devotional prayers bring clarity to our souls. And if there is an offensive thought or emotion, let Christ lead us into repentance, love and forgiveness in His everlasting loving ways. Psalms 139:23-24. Healing is not the end but a beginning of wisdom, knowledge and understanding in the fear of the Lord. The greatest challenge of the world and in the church today is the insensitivity to our sins, iniquities and transgressions. Only wisdom and discernment can direct us carefully in the Kingdom’s narrow path as Jesus shared. Matthew 7:14. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord our God, let me be open to your Holy Spirit and discernment daily. Without you, I can do nothing. But with you all things are possible. Guide me and teach me to be more like Christ inwardly to be wise. Remove all things that is not from you within me. Bring forth healing and restoration, for it’s is not by mighty, nor by power but by the leading of your word and Holy Spirit, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
