Today’s Inspiration: “By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.” Hebrews 11:5. Testimonies are the weapons of our warfare. Even the archangels in heaven uses them to defeat satan. Revelation 12:11.
Enoch was a man who testifies in pleasing God. Testimonies comes from the spirit of thanksgiving in our hearts. It ushers salvation to the hearers, faith to fearful, and hope to the hopeless. The woman at the well in Samaria testified of Jesus and brought the whole town a revival and great salvation. John 4:39-40. One day in prayer the Lord spoke in my quiet time that people are lukewarm because they no longer give testimonies and remember God’s goodness. Every testimony will carry us to the next, and so is our faith to faith and glory to glory. Romans 1:17. Why we are not having breakthroughs is because we no longer testify the glory of God. A Christian must be seize every opportunity to testify for Jesus like Enoch, for we can’t say we walk with God until we testify for Him. Gratitude is the strongest Attitude. When did you last testify for God?
Prayer: O Lord my God, forgive me if I have taken your blessings for granted and has kept your testimony silent. Let I not forget all the good things and you have done in my life. I shall bless your Holy Name and testify of your glory by faith once again. Lead me from faith to faith, and glory to glory in Jesus' Name forever, Amen.
