19 March 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: ”There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the Lord. The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the Lord.“ Proverbs‬ ‭21‬:‭30‬-‭31‬ ‭NIV.‬ The works of our God are well balanced, well watered and well established. The wisdom of the world seeks profits only for self but the wisdom of the Kingdom of God seek His purpose for His glory. It’s a season to reflect, rethink and realign to God’s mandate and direction in our Spiritual walk with Him. Isaiah 40:31. The enemy’s plan is to steal your time with God in prayer, worship, and waiting for His Word.

King David had all the human resources, building materials and plans to build the temple of God but God didn’t allow him to do so because of it was God’s plan for Solomon to do so. The psalmist say,” Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat— for he grants sleep to those he loves.“ Psalms‬ ‭127‬:‭1‬-‭2.‬ ‭Don’t work so hard you lose sight of God and don’t be proud because of success. What God desires you to do can be very different from what you want to do. What seems good to man might not be for the Lord, for He sees and knows your heart and life. Learn to seek, sought, submit to God always for He will direct your path to victory. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, who can fathom your ways for your heavenly wisdom is higher than the world and any human ways. This day I lay down all my plans, resources and time before you. For your Word is the lamp to my feet and light to my path. Turn my eyes from the world of darkness and direct them into your marvellous light of hope. Let your peace that surpasses all knowledge and understanding govern and direct my mind and my heart with your peace and favour in whom I shall find my rest, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
