Today‘s Inspiration: “For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” III John 1:3-4. Today the greatest stronghold of the enemy is deception. Be it online, in the news, or what we see in the digital world daily. Jesus came so that we can know the truth of the gospel and it liberates us from the lies, schemes and plots of the devil. How does the Church know the truth? It is the Word of God that can give us true joy, love and peace to our spirit.
Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:31-32. Our deep transformation is not just to pray more but hearing more of God’s voice. It is not doing more but being more with Christ. Our intimacy and relationship with God takes precedent in all that we do or we can easily be distracted, deceived, and detracted from God’s calling, timing, plan and purpose. Fruitfulness is not just about numbers but about transformation in Christlikeness. It’s not about quantity but quality of our discipleship journey with Christ. It’s also not how long you spend time with God, but what God is directing you to do with His time given to you. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, quieten my mind and still my heart to hear your voice. Show me your will, plans, and purpose for yours is the kingdom, power and glory. Your word is the lamp to my feet and light to my path. Let this be a time of refreshing, resetting and realignment to your heart, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
