Today’s Inspiration: “When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. Better is a little with righteousness, Than vast revenues without justice.” Proverbs 16:7-8 NKJV. God has created spiritual laws in both the physical and spiritual realms, and if we obey in Him in the physical, His divine protection and hedges abide in the Spiritual. Satan couldn’t attack Job because of His walk with God was righteous. Job 1:10. However, it’s was his fear of the children’s sin that gave way to Satan’s attacked. Job 3:25
Wisdom says,”Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.” Proverbs 29:25. We need to fear God and not man, obey His commandments and not be self righteous. Being too self conscious of criticism, remarks, and opinions can open doors to anxiety and depression for a soul. One begins to hear more from the devil than from God. Mental health all begins with idolatry of self centeredness. When Job began to surrender to God, prayed for those who criticised him, he was healed of his infirmities, sores and finances. Why? Obedience is better than sacrifice. God sees the heart more than just works.
Prayer: O Lord my God, let my soul not fear man but God who is the author and finisher of my faith. Jehovah Jireh is my Lord and provider, I shall not lack anything in health and wealth. Godliness with contentment is my great wealth and God’s peace which surpasses all governs my mind and my heart. I am blessed by the Lord on earth as it is in heaven because of His sovereign will, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
