Today‘s Inspiration: “He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.” Proverbs 16:32 NKJV. In times of spiritual warfare, we need to pray in the Spirit and not allow the flesh to be evoked. Anger can be easily aroused during stressful assignment, tight deliveries or facing difficult people and situations. Breakthroughs always come through a break out in Prayer in spirit and understanding. The ruler of our Spirit if Christ Jesus who gives us His Holy Spirit. The battle field is in the mind. Romans 12:2.
The momentum of negative thoughts and emotions are disrupted, disconnected and debunked by the Holy Spirit in prayer. Our victory comes from within our spirit man, which is our spiritual mind. Anointing of God can break the yoke of fear, stress, worry and anxiety in our minds in agreement to God’s word in prayer and proclamation. We might get angry or frustrated but be quick to pray and to forgive. “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. Ephesians 4:26 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers v29. For in intercession, out of our hearts and spirit shall flow rivers of living waters of God’s love, peace and joy.
Prayer: O Lord my God, let your Holy Spirit lead us with self control over our spirit man and mind. Let the mind of Christ and the helmet of salvation protect our mind and break all chains of negative thoughts, perceptions and reactions. Healing our reactions and give us your peace in our spirit. May we bear fruit in the spirit that will last eternally and may your peace, providence and favour establishes the work of our hands and give us good success, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
