Today’s Inspiration: “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭28‬ ‭NKJV.‬‬ Our love, calling, and purpose of God are divine steps towards the true meaning, destiny and fulfilment of our life living here on the earth. Today when we ask, “What is our purpose here on earth in these decades?” We can get many answers but few convictions from the Lord. The purpose of our Christian life is not a sinner’s prayer but rather a sinner’s gratitude and gravitation towards God.

If Christianity is just about God giving what we want, having an easy life, everybody is going to get rich and waiting just to get to heaven. It is no Christianity at all. Because there must be image of Christ in a Christian, and if not we will not enter the kingdom of heaven or overcome hardship. 1 John 3:2. The church mustn’t just have the form of religion but without true formation which is the power of the Holy Spirit. The sinner’s prayer is not a quick ticket to heaven but the start of a prayer life for one’s soul to repent daily, reconcile with God and be regenerate as a new creation in the power of transformation by God in the Spirit man for His purpose. 2 Corinthians 5:17. We no longer desire to walk like the world but desire to walk like Christ, abiding to God’s word and to do His will.

Prayer: O Lord my God, renew my mind and regenerate my spirit and soul to be who you have created to be in the likeness of Christ. If there are any areas which I am not, I repent and let thy Spirit bring forth a transformation of my attitude, behaviour and character to be like yours. For in your light, I see light and the truth shall set me free, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
