Today’s Inspiration: “The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out.” Leviticus 6:13 NIV. The center of Spiritual Warfare is the Fire at the Altar. Do you find it is difficult to pray or one hasn’t been praying for a long while? Elijah knew the broken condition of Israel is because of the broken altar at Mount Carmel. If the church no longer prays, there is no spiritual power against the kingdom of darkness. Therefore Satan’s plan is always to target on our prayer life.
If we keep the fire on the altar burning, the fire will keep us burning. Remember God doesn’t just give us His Spirit but His fire as well! Matthew 3:11. What a spiritual truth! Jesus taught,”You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”Matthew 5:14-16 Prayer can move mountains and does the things our hands cannot do. And every time we pray and call upon the Name of the Lord, breakthrough comes!
Prayer: O Lord my God, let your Spirit and Fire be burning inside my soul as your altar of sacrifice. Let the sacrifice of praise be given to you day and night as my delight is in your presence. For it is through your light I see light and the fullness of joy of your love consumes me. Use me as your light to the world to bring souls into thy marvelous light and path to salvation, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
