Today’s Inspiration: The greatest success in life is not riches, fame, honour or wealth. We can be pursuing success for the wrong things and neglect what is most important in life. The Psalmist said.” Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” Psalm 90:12.
The greatest success in life is the Love for God and others. “I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Psalm 18:1-2.
The greatest success in life is the Success to Love. This was shown by Christ on the earth and price He paid at the Cross. Jesus taught,” What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?” Matthew 16:26 Only God’s perfect and unconditional love can cast out all fears and bring forgiveness, healing and restoration to a soul. Jesus focus was never on the things of the world but on the people God gave him to experience His love. “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13.
Prayer: O Lord My God, thank you for thy perfect love who gave your life at the Cross of Calvary and shed your Blood that my sins can be redeemed. In you, I found the joy of my salvation and my mission here on earth is to love like you. Teach me how to love like you, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
