Today's Inspiration: Our life is not our own. It is not for man to direct his steps but the Lord who guides his steps. Jeremiah 10:24. When you commit your plans to the Lord, you will surely succeed. Proverbs 16:3 for His ways and His thoughts are higher than yours. The Lord can foresee what is ahead of us and alert us of imminent dangers ahead of time. Without the Lord we can do nothing. John 15:5. So let us stay in union with the Lord and with each other. This is what is required of us in good times and in bad times. We are chosen to bear fruit, fruit that will last forever. V16.
Our Lord is gentle and light. If you take refuge in Him, you will find rest for your soul for His load is easy and His burden is light.
Just as a tree is recognised by its fruit, a man is recognised by his attitude, behavior and character. Will He find good in us when He comes? Have we been bearing fruit as His disciple? You were chosen to bear fruit at a time like this. David hoped to defeat Goliath. He commits himself to the goal and he knew that the battle cannot be won without the Lord so he challenged Goliath that he is now committed to accept his challenge in the name of the Lord. His commitment and courage brought back the honor to Israel. Indeed in all things we are more than conquerors through Christ who loved us and surrender to His will that all of us might be saved and redeemed. Rom 8:37. God be praised.
Prayer: Abba Father, to You I commit myself to Your love that I might attain my reward in the last days. May You sustain me as the trumpet blows. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
