Today’s Inspiration: “Produce fruit in keeping with repentance.” Matthew‬ ‭3‬:‭8‬ ‭NIV. What is the most evident in a Christian family or how should we build the foundation of faith in our homes that will be a blessing for generation and protection from the enemy? It is repentance and transformation through Christ who is the author and finisher of our faith. Christian family has to produce spiritual fruit which comes from humility, obedience and teachability. It is first produced from the parents and to the children, learning how to seek forgiveness from God and to release forgiveness to others daily. Matthew 6:12.

Without repentance, there is no fear of God and wisdom in life. One who repents is wise and of godly character, pleasing to God. To build a godly family, we have to practice forgiveness to one another at home, both parents to children and children to parents unto Christ. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other. Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭22‬-‭26‬ ‭NIV.‬‬

Prayer: O Lord my God, let there be forgiveness in the family and home beginning with me to you Lord and to others. I am a sinner saved by your love, grace and mercy at the Cross of Calvary. Teach me to practice grace daily that the love of God through Christ produces the fruit of the Spirit within me at all times. I repent from all my sins, iniquities and transgressions that I may be fruitful in Christ. For the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, knowledge and understanding, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
