Today‘s Inspiration: “He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now.” I John 2:9 NKJV. In the Bible, siblings rivalry is often seen in Genesis among generations. Satan is a not just a deceiver, he is a divider of the brethren. Pride, envy and jealousy is his weapon and stronghold. These are never visible in the physical eyes but are discerned in the spirit and heart. We cannot enter the Kingdom of heaven without reconciliation and neither our sins are forgiven without repentance. Psalm 51:17.
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. II Corinthians 10:4-6. He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes. I John 2:10-11 Let there be new reconciliation, restoration, and healing among brethren. Shalom!
Prayer: O Lord my God, we break all generational iniquities of sibling rivalries in the mighty name of Yeshua. Our Lord has come to destroy the works of satan, breaking all deceptions, divisions and disputes by His truth, and His truth shall set the brethren free. Forgive us if we have harbour any resentment or hatred among siblings or fellow brethren. Remove the log in my eyes to know that I am too a sinner saved by grace, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
