Today’s Inspiration: “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”Matthew 5:4 NIV When we were young, time seems to slow but as we age, time seems to move too fast. Nobody knows how long will they live and what is most important in their life. And we can only realise them in the house of mourning because what seems important to us when we were young are no longer important when we reach the end of life. We never question ourselves about after life and eternal life.

The psalmist says,”Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”Psalms 90:12 The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning, but the heart of fools is in the house of pleasure. It is better to heed the rebuke of a wise person than to listen to the song of fools.”Ecclesiastes 7:4-5 Four most important things a wake reminds us, is one, cherish the love ones with us. Two, be a better version of ourselves in Christlikeness. Three, to do what God wants us to do for His kingdom. And lastly, be in His presence always for He will lead us, comfort us, and direct us into His eternal kingdom.

Prayer: O Lord my God, your beatitudes are truly filled with life wisdom, counsel and comfort. I discover that our brokenness is where we find you and your loving kindness is always for us. Let me not lose sight of your Word and your Holy Spirit, who directs my path and reminds me that in all times of tests, trials and tribulations, your voice comforts me and counsels me to know you more. You are my shepherd and I shall lack nothing, in Jesus Name, Amen.
