Today‘s Inspiration: ”The fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must not go out. Every morning the priest is to add firewood and arrange the burnt offering on the fire and burn the fat of the fellowship offerings on it. The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out.“ Leviticus 6:12-13 NIV. Prayer life is the Spiritual life of a Christian. It is like blood in a body because life is in the Blood. Leviticus 17:11 Prayer is not a suggestion for a disciple but a commandment to a Spirit filled, fire brand, and vibrant believer.
Without the sacrifice of prayer and praises, our temple of the Holy Spirit has no light and direction. The challenge of a lukewarm believer is not that they do not want to build the prayer altar but they are unwilling to sacrifice. We cannot desire a breakthrough without the breaking of the flesh. It’s only when we sacrifice time, devotion, and worship unto God, can a fresh fire of God come down on the Brazen Altar. All demonic powers and principalities, dark realms and rulers will be destroyed by the power and fire of Holy Spirit. When a fresh fire of Spirit comes down, our temple will be filled with the glory of God and no darkness, devil or deception can enter our lives. 2 Chronicles 7:1 Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, may the words in my prayer and devoted meditation in my heart be pleasing and committed to you. Let the fire on the altar in the temple of Holy Spirit be always burning bright and high. Forgive me if there were negligence to prayer. Let your divine presence, power, and provision be filled in my life for the glory of God daily. Bring me into new dimensions of revelations in prayer and prophetic vision. Direct my intercession and insights for your plans and purpose, in Jesus Name, Amen.
