16 September 2025 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “I answered them, “The God of heaven [has appointed us for His purpose and] will give us success; therefore we His servants will arise and build.” Nehemiah 2:20. Fear is the greatest enemy but our Faith in Christ is our greatest strength to uproot, pull down, destroy and overthrow any strongholds or bondages. Nehemiah was a man of faith, prayer, wisdom, and love for God's people and His land. He prayed earnestly for the forgiveness of his sins, His forefathers sins, and the sons of Israel. Nehemiah 1:6.

Repentance was the revival in His heart, burning with fire and zeal to rebuild all the broken walls and gates of Jerusalem. All of us have a calling to bring healing and restoration to the broken walls and gates in our lives, be it our personal life, family relationships, ministry or work places. It is a divine understanding that God uses our pain and brokenness for His purpose and breakthroughs. Nehemiah was just a cup bearer to the King but God moved His spirit with His to become the governor of Jerusalem, surrounding Him with favour. He is not a prophet nor a priest but one who was willing to sacrifice for God’s kingdom. We believe the generation arising shall be the Nehemiahs for Christ who brings back the people to Jerusalem as rebuilders.

Prayer: O Lord my God, you are the great builder and architect of our lives. No lives are too small or little that you can’t use. Lead us into your divine calling, gifting and election. Lead us to your divine will, plan and purpose to build your kingdom and restoring what was broken to be beautiful and wonderful. Make us your vessel and offering like a living sacrifice that we may be useful for the master, and remember us for eternity. Give us the passion, anointing, and zeal of the Holy Spirit to be rebuilders, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
