Today’s Inspiration: Jesus knows all the storms of our lives when we followed Him in the journey of our salvation and destiny. Likewise in Matthew 8:23-27, Jesus was sleeping soundly in the midst of the storm on the boat with the disciples. The problem was the disciples only knew Jesus as the Lord of the Word but not the Lord of the storms.
Nothing is impossible for the Lord, Our God. Mark 9:23. He is the Lord over our storms and waves in life. But be sure that storms and waves would not be absence from us in life, but through your faith in Jesus shall the billows be removed. Praise God!
Faith operates not in absence of fear but in the midst of fear. Information does not give us faith but revelation in Christ does. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 Faith arises when we know Jesus is not just the Lord of the Word but the Lord of all elements in the heavens and the earth. Faith without actions is dead. James 2:17 Faith always produces actions that eradicated fear, anxiety, and stress. Jesus turned the disciples from worrying to worshiping on the boat when they realised He is the Lord of Host.
Prayer: O Lord Our God, give us a new measure of faith in this season to overcome all fears. In your Name, we believe you have empowered us with the Holy Spirit to overcome all storms in our lives, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
