Today’s Inspiration: “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” Philippians 4:8 NIV. Our thoughts are like streams of waters and bellows of wind that direct our sails in life. Only mediating on the Word of God can give us mental wellness, wisdom and health in these challenging times, through the renewal of our minds by the Holy Spirit.

Apostle Paul wrote this epistle to the Philippians in the prison and yet in the most trying times, he chose to rejoice and have complete peace in Christ Jesus instead of his trials and tribulations. Philippians 4:4 Is Christ sleeping in the aft of our boat in the storm or is Christ leading us at the front of our vessel to still the turbulence and torrential currents? Faith in Christ directs our thoughts and it calms our emotions. What are the troubles you are facing now? Direct them to the Lord in prayer for He cares for you and will help you. Psalm 121:1. Prayer redirects our sails back to our Saviour. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, my delight is you Lord for you fulfills the desires of my heart to worship you and to give you all my prayers, petitions and praises daily. Even in the midst of the storm, I choose to trust you and need you, as I ask of you to direct my thoughts and still my emotions with faith and not fear, with hope and not helplessness, and with love and not lost, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
