Today‘s Inspiration: “Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, And the strength of salvation; The fear of the Lord is His treasure.” Isaiah 33:6 NKJV. Worldliness pursues riches but Godliness pursues holiness. The world always wants more but life of Christlikeness is needing less and giving more. In life, we need to avoid extremes and we need the wisdom of God to have a balanced life. Don’t not overwork and neglect your health, and do not be so busy that you neglect your spiritual life, family, and spouse. There is time for everything and we need to discern the times to steward it well.
Apostle James taught,”If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”James 1:5-8 The wisdom of God stabilises our hearts and balances our time and purpose in life. Seek God first in all things, and He will direct your path and provide. Matthew 6:33.
Prayer: O Lord my God, let I not be caught in the rat race or what my flesh desires but to seek you, your calling and purpose in my life. Let I be more aware of your heart than mine, more of your wisdom than mine, and more of your likeness than mine. Let I be lesser, and you be greater in all ways. Make me a your wineskin, your pottery, and your vessel, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
