16 August 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: “Let their flesh be renewed like a child’s; let them be restored as in the days of their youth’— then that person can pray to God and find favor with him, they will see God’s face and shout for joy; he will restore them to full well-being.” Job‬ ‭33‬:‭25‬-‭26‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ Prayer brings hope and light of the Lord’s glory upon our health. Colossians 1:27. His divine love gives us pure joy that is beyond what the world can offer, a love that never fails and is eternal through His beloved and only begotten Son Jesus Christ. There is no one who can heal like He does of our fears, wounds, and infirmities.

Commander Naaman was asked to lay down his pride, possessions, and even his position to be dip inside of river Jordan seven times as prophesied by Elisha. Naaman was religious, ritualistic and rude to compare where the baptism could be placed but God was humbling his ego, arrogance, and pride. Eventually he yielded and was healed of his leprosy. Humility turned his heart to the Lord and away from idolatry. He no longer just put on his uniform but was baptised by the Lord with new garments of praise and worship. 2 Kings 5:14. No longer it’s about one’s wealth and strength but healing came through God’s love, compassion and mercy. Glory to God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, we repent of our pride, our predicaments, and our wrong perception of you. Let us pray to seek your face and not your hands. Baptise us seven times in humility, obedience, and submission into your Holy Spirit. Let the power of the Spirit of God brings healing, restoration, and miracles of breakthrough in my health, immunity and strength. Cleanse me I will be clean, heal me and I will be healed for you are my Jehovah Rapha, my Lord my healer, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
