Today’s Inspiration: Everyone loses things in life. It can be finances, relationships or even challenges in health. This doesn’t mean God doesn’t love us or is unfair, unjust or unreal. It is because we have an adversary who desires to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus came so that we have life and life abundantly. John 10:10.
For God is able to make all things new again for us if put our trust in Christ. Revelation 21:5. I grew up in a dysfunctional family which had fights, arguments and curses daily but God brought restoration and reconciliation through Christ Jesus for my family salvation. It is a process, journey and encounter.
Like Joseph, what seemingly is a dysfunctional past became a redemptive future by God. A temporal plan in the pit and prison became an eternal plan in the palace and kingdom. God is able to make all things work for the good for those who love His purpose. Romans 8:28 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17. Eventually God brought Joseph’s family together through the famine and forgiveness, through fruitfulness in Goshen. Trust in God’s divine plan for salvation. Be patient, it will come.
Prayer: O Lord My God, I believe and trust in your sovereign plan. You know the best for my life and may my family be saved, restore, and reconcile for your glory and honour, to be a witness of your great salvation, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
