15 October 2020 Word by Honorary Pastor Rev Alicia Teo

Today's Inspiration: It is written: I believed therefore I have spoken." Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak. 2 Corinthians 4:13. This was the promise of God. Whatever you believe you speak out, and God will bring to fulfillment for His promises are Yes and Amen, 2 Corinthians 1:20 and in Isaiah 55:11, His word and power never return to Him void. Yet many people felt this statement don't work for them. They keep declaring victory in their life but they don't bear fruit. This is because they speak out in faith but wonder how God can bring a messy situation out from them. It is spoken without great expectation.

There is therefore a connection between declaration of your faith and speaking power released to the atmosphere that is responded with Amen indicating agreement to expectation of fulfillment. It's not enough just to believe that God is doing something in your life but to declare what you believe He will do. If you declare what He will do as per His promises, yet with wavering faith, it will not fulfill what the words were sent for. Faith declaration can change the atmosphere if you strongly believe without an ounce of doubt.

God spoke confidently to have light in the atmosphere. He believed and He spoke, the Holy Spirit changed the atmosphere by giving it light. Whatever God declared it came to pass because it was spoken in confidence. Genesis 1:3-31. Whatever He desires, He spoke and the atmosphere responded in faith. Major breakthrough comes forth with faith declaration words spoken in confidence like the words of Moses, Elijah, Elisha and even the disciples. As long as we agree with His written or spoken word, it will come to pass. Amos 3:3. You can come to the Lord that you are greatly afflicted, but you should not stop there. You must express faith in the midst of your affliction for Him to respond. So start declaring by faith your belief without wavering so that all be well with you. God be praised.

Prayer: If we are faithless, You still remain faithful because You cannot disown Yourself. I come to You today to give thanks to You for the wondrous deeds You have done for me and I believe so I speak You will continue to do good to Your servant because of the Blood of Jesus Christ and His righteousness. Whatever I declare by faith, I await patiently for Your fulfillment. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
