Today’s Inspiration: “Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.” Psalms 42:11 NIV. King David was not just being distressed by the threats of the enemy, he also faced sickness and illness in his reign. Yet all his internal heart dialogue with God became prayers, psalms and power which we sing to bring healing, restoration and deliverance to our spirit, soul, and body. Do we have a dialogue with God?

God’s voice is found in His word and epistles to us. Do we converse with Him through the Holy Spirit? Do we fellowship with His Spirit in the Word? What is His word telling us today? You will not be surprise that in today’s church, many prays but few read the Word of God. Other religions pray more than us but God is not found by repetitive prayers but by His prayers for us in His Word, the Holy Bible. What other religions don’t have is the Holy Spirit of God. Jesus said,”And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.”John 14:16-17 Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, thank you for the Holy Spirit who helps me to know your anointed word and to pray in thy wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Your word is the lamp to my feet and light to my path. I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let my foot slip— You who watches over me will not slumber, in Jesus Name, Amen.
