15 December 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: “By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, of whom it was said, “In Isaac your seed shall be called,” concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense.” Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭17‬-‭19‬. ‭The greatest test and the vision of God is giving His only begotten son Jesus Christ to die at the Cross for our sins, so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. Faith transcends beyond human intelligence, knowledge and understanding.

Abraham knew who God is because he had walked with God closely out of his comfort zone, into a foreign land, and to foreign people, into Canaan. He knew God personally because that all that he has or given, comes from God. Faith is not about reasoning, justifying or thinking but about trusting, believing, and giving unto God. Faith breaks all doubts, fears and unbelief within us. It looses our hands from the world and tighten our hands on God’s. Like a child who finds comfort, security and love in the Father’s arms. Faith arises when you know how much God loves us. Remember the knife was halted from Abraham’s hand by the angel, but it didn’t at the Cross of Calvary. His divine love and mercy endures forever. Psalm 136:1.

Prayer: O Lord my God, you are the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You are the provider of all generations and the lover of our souls. We are thankful for your daily bread and cup who sustains us with your breath of life. Your grace is sufficient for me and I desire to hear your voice and dwell in the tabernacle of your Holy presence all the days of my life. You are Jehovah Jireh, my Lord and provider, now forth forevermore, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
