14 November 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:1-2 NIV. The most difficult task for a farmer is not the sowing, nor the reaping of harvest but the in between time of watering, watching, and waiting over the harvest. He may not see God but He believes in God’s divine work in His nature, creation, and commands. Your waiting, worship, and warring time in prayer will not be wasted time. God works when we can’t see.

Why people are not experiencing breakthroughs? We have to put off our old man, in order to put on Christ. Romans 6:6. We can’t be having old mindsets, angry behaviours and disobedient attitudes, expecting new changes and breakthroughs. Firstly, we have to come back to God’s Word to remember what He has told us. There can be repentance, forgiveness and change in the process. Be open. Secondly, we need to learn from our mistakes and choose to follow God’s Word in obedience. Be humble. Thirdly, we have ask God deep within us on what must I do to be different and trust God in taking positive actions. Be faithful.

Prayer: O Lord my God, thank you for reminding me your word to put off my old man of negative words, attitudes, and behaviours. I repent from any curse words, abuses, vulgarities or godless chatters that has been spoken emotionally and carelessly. Let there be love, repentance and forgiveness in my soul and my family. Behold, Lord you make all things new and I am a new creation in you daily. Let me be humble to be corrected, taught and moulded by your divine Word in your image, in Jesus Name, Amen.
