14 December 2025 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.”Matthew 6:7-8 NIV God is not looking at how many times you pray but how deep and fervent is your prayer with conviction, consecration, and compassion. He does not require eloquence but earnestness from the heart with no pretence. Humility, obedience and teachability is the surest and purest form of worship.

We are not justified by good works or boasting on our religiosity in going church and doing ministry. Our justification is solely and only through faith in Christ alone, who forgave our sins at the Cross of Calvary and whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. Prayer is not about for what God can give us but how God can save us by faith in Christ alone. Romans 4:3 Without faith it is impossible to please God. And without Christ alone, there is no salvation. His life, death and resurrection becomes the foundation of our faith, which no man can boast but to bow and confess that Christ is Lord.

Prayer: O Lord my God, let us deny ourselves, carry the Cross and follow you. The world can never satisfy my soul for I am created to worship you alone as my Lord, saviour, redeemer, healer and King. Only you alone, deserve all the glory, honour and worship. Lead me in prayer that I may hear your voice daily as the sheep hears the Shepherd. My faith is found in Christ alone, in Jesus Name, Amen.
